Electric Run

One of the things that I like to do or my friends and I would like to do is joining the fun run, and I am saying FUN run, it has got some twist in it that makes the whole experience more unique in my opinion, and I am down for it. Staying active is as important as getting 8 hours of sleep every night (if I could) for me. Although I get a lot of comments on how skinny I am and yet I still like to go for a morning run or going to the gym and whatnot, to be honest, I don’t do this to lose weight. First, I do not gain weight because I have an extremely bored metabolism that knows nothing but to let go of everything I ate the second it hits down my throat (well, not literally but you know what I mean), second I do this because it is fun and it makes me happy plus the benefits I am getting. It is like fuel to my system that keeps me going and makes me feel good about ME.

It was a 5 km night run around the lush Yas Gateway Park with colourful decorative street lights and loud music all over the place. The after party was also epic with a lovely and ridiculously good looking DJ, of course, I am not posting pictures of me actually dancing because that would be too embarrassing. The participants are all from various age groups; there are families with cute kids, massive group of friends and adorable lovers as well. The idea got me thinking and inspired me to promise myself that I am so bringing my children to run with me someday, YES SOMEDAY.

Skin Care

img_2169img_2180img_2181img_2185

My Top 7 Skin Care Products:

  1. Clinique Liquid  Facial Soap
  2. Bioderma Sensibio H2O – helps to remove any left over products from washing alone
  3. Sephora Wrinkle – fighting Super Serum
  4. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
  5. Orogold 24K Cell Renewal Night Cream
  6. Kiehl’s Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream
  7. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion – let the pink particles settle down and use a cotton bud to take it and apply directly on your pimples, this thing works wonders!

Taking care of your skin is as necessary as not skipping a meal or keeping hydrated on a hot sunny day. I mean, it’s vitally needed in an obvious possible way. I have noticed that over the time as we age whether we like to acknowledge it or not, it’s happening! Our skin is starting to experience or display stuff that wasn’t there before. And by stuff, I meant, rank pimples, overdue scars from previous pimples, bigger pores, uneven skin tone, lines and wrinkles around the eyes and laugh lines. The list is going to go on and on, and it is tough, real tough! At least for me, it’s definitely real for me. I am so near to 30 now, and I’ve got multiple skin issues way more than my OTHER issues. Haha! So regardless of how time-consuming it is and how pricey things can turn to be, I’m down for it, and I don’t mind.

These goes with you too; PLEASE take the time to remove your makeup before going to bed if you do wear or even just a moisturizer and powder on, just remove any product from your face and wash it off with water and soap. Having all these products that have chemicals on your face for the day time is too much for your skin to handle and for it to breath let alone keeping it for 24 hours round! It will cause you loads of skin problems, (top on the list, pimples) that you may not see now but eventually, you will especially when you pass teenage life. There isn’t really a way we could stop it, but at least we can do something to prevent or to delay it a bit. I just wish I knew this before then probably my wrinkles not be appearing at this early stage. But well, it’s here now and no reason to mourn about it. This post went off quite ranting once again. HAHA.

These are just a few of my skin care routine. Of course, if you’re wearing makeup you have to remove it first with a makeup remover, either with wipes, cream or in liquid form before you proceed washing to attain the actual aim, REMOVING. Face mask, exfoliating mask, treatment, and facials once in a while are perfect as well. I hope this was helpful!

PS: Daily default – sunscreen, tons of water and at least 6-8 hours of sleep

Thank you for stopping by. May you have a pleasant day or evening. And don’t forget to smile! xx

A Day in my life

img_2003img_2004img_2006img_1947img_1936img_1939img_1948img_1961img_1962img_1964img_1957img_1955

Today marks the 6th month since I left my previous place (used to be my home for two years), my workplace and my friends. I paid a visit and nostalgia kicked hard. I missed them so much and the places I used to see every morning on my way to work. Realizing that I am going old and eventually pass adulthood makes me cringe, because of how the time just flew by. Haha! But it’s all good, and this goes to show that I am aware that I am an adult and expected to act like one. Willingly, opened myself to change and worked my way through it as what I have imagined it going to be. I still can remember those times I caught myself wondering what to do next. But as long as we know what we want, we can always start from there. I wanted to explore more in a way that can help establish new learnings; for my career, personal and social well-being, and so I did. For now, everything is in the place where they’re supposed to be and happy beyond measure that I did the right thing for me. Take a risk, be sensible in things that are attainable and what are you capable of, then work on it, fight for it and never stop until you get it. Fear is always there, and it’s good serving as your reminder that screwing up is not an option and that you better do good!

The day was filled with giggles, catching up, and was productively fun. And of course horrible and shameless photoshoot in every corner possible. 🙂
